World of warcraft biography channels greyed out

Hi I seem to be unable to see, use, leave or join the “world channels” of General, Trade and LocalDefense.

When I check the Chat Channel panel all 3 are greyed out and I cannot interact with them.
It only seems to effect me in the open world while I have warmode on and while I am not in a city.

This is frustrating as especially in Warmode LocalDefense is really useful.
I have tried the bog standard /leave /join they do not work.

Is this just a bug or is it intended and if it is intended, why?

Try a UI reset, and just so you know, trade is not usable outside a city.

I know trade isn’t usable outside cities and UI reset is the first thing i tried, its such a common sense thing to try I didn’t bother mentioning it.
